Fitz Bush worked for NuGenesis Technologies from 1996 to 2003. As the startup company’s first hire he played a crucial role.

Vice President Applications Development - Initial responsibilities included designing customer surveys and performing initial market research, developing software prototypes, hiring the development team, evaluating and purchasing hardware and software tools for team, designing software architecture, designing user interfaces, developing applications (C++, VB), writing online help and user manuals, and establishing formal quality procedures and coding standards for software product development (author of the Software Development Life Cycle).
Inventor on company's first patent (U.S. Patent 6,260,044). Received the NuGenesis 2001 Long Term Technical Contribution Award.
Development Project Manager for the flagship product, UNIFY/Vision (now known as SDMS). In addition to software design and development work, was responsible for functional specifications, project schedules, manpower allocation, work assignments, managing the Development team, and interface with the Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Technical Documentation, and Technical Support groups.
Established Integration Services Group, responsible for all aspects of developing custom applications including: customer interface, requirements analysis, project proposals, time and cost estimates, prototype development, and the design, implementation, and test of the software.
